Front Office: Patient Specialist
Advantage Diagnostics is a Diagnostic Imaging Company. We are a busy, well-established company of over 20 years. We are looking for a high-energy person to join our growing center. Patient experience and satisfaction is our priority and our specialists make this possible.
Core Responsibilities:
- Welcoming patients and guests
- Check-in and assisting patients with required forms
- Verifying Insurance
- Collecting co-pays
- Updating patient information and making changes in electronic medical record platform
- Scheduling/rescheduling appointments within electronic medical records platform
- Managing phone lines by answering, taking messages, and conducting outbound calls as instructed
- Responding to email requests and inquiries
- Managing faxes in the electronic fax platform
- Other duties as assigned
Patient Specialist Requirements:
- High energy and works well with others.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong interpersonal and organizational skills.
- Well-groomed, professional appearance.
- Able to work some evenings until about 630p.
- 1 year administrative experience, preferably within a healthcare setting, desired, but not mandatory.
