As a Registered Nurse (RN) in the Pediatric Intensive Care (PICU), this position is responsible for the care of patients, ranging from infants to adults, with delivering appropriate care to patients and families. Our patient population is primarily pulmonary, sepsis, endocrine, overdose/ingestions, and spinal fusions. We are working on our level 3 trauma designation and expanding surgical services.
PICU CRITICAL CARE REGISTERED NURSE (RN) REQUIREMENTS:
- 1 year ICU from a hospital in a large city or with combo of other peds experience; Or 18 months plus in a PICU
- BSN required
- Current license to practice professional nursing in the State of Texas Upon Hire Required
- BLS certification approved by the American Heart Association Upon Hire Required
