WE ARE LOOKING FOR AN OUTSTANDING OPERATIONS CENTER SUPERVISOR IN OUR ST LOUIS, MO FACILITY!
SHIFT - MONDAY-FRIDAY - 9:00AM TO 5:30PM
Position Summary: The Operations Supervisor applies on a daily basis their in-depth knowledge of all warehouse processes from start-up to shut down and is expected to make solid decisions pertaining to storing, put-away, receiving, order processing, and safety. The Operations Supervisor is also responsible for monitoring all aspects of team performance throughout their rotation.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
- Mentor and develop team members on an ongoing basis. Support and implement programs in training, safety, communications, performance recognition, and internal employee development in order to ensure peak employee productivity.
- Promote high customer service expectations among team members, monitor results with customers to ensure performance is meeting expectations and take action to correct performance gaps and/or address improvement opportunities.
- Plan and schedule daily staffing needs to maximize labor efficiency
- Supervise daily shift operations to ensure packaging and shipping standards and quality parameters are met
- Determine equipment repair needs and initiate maintenance work orders to minimize production downtime.
- Manage operational processes related to inventory and fulfillment, including evaluating future needs based on product development plans, market trends, and cycle planning
- Implement best practices for inventory control; assist in managing inventory levels to prevent gains and losses.
- Collaborate across teams to troubleshoot and resolve fulfillment issues and ensure customer satisfaction
- Ensure proper execution and implementation of all policies procedures with regard to picking, packing, shipping, receiving, inventory management, and distribution.
- Maintain an effective operation that minimizes cost and ensures optimal space utilization.
- Ensure accurate and timely preparation, processing, distribution and retention of all necessary reports and records regarding Warehouse Operations.
- Ensure accurate billing and invoicing is compliant with company standards.
Communicate with customers in a professional manner and maintain a close relationship to ensure goals are being met.

Education/Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree preferred or an equivalent combination of education/experience
- Minimum 3 years of experience as a Team Lead or Supervisory experience in a distribution, storage, or manufacturing environment
- Proven success in maintaining quality, service and client relationships in a high-paced setting
Experience working in team oriented, multi-shift environment

- Detail oriented with ability to demonstrate skill in business analysis
- Ability to effectively communicate, interact and convey business decisions with many different levels within the organization.
- Thorough knowledge of quality control, receiving, shipping, inventory systems, supply chain management, logistics, customer service, reporting, system analysis, equipment and warehouse functionality
- Strong computer skills with proven competencies in MS Excel, Word, and Outlook.
- Working understanding of Warehouse Management System
- Excellent communication skills
- Excellent leadership skills
Ability to write clearly and informatively and present numerical data effectively

- Actual starting pay is determined by various factors, including but not limited to relevant experience and location.
