Responsibilities:
Reporting to the Production Supervisor, the Production Lead will:

Assist the Production Supervisor in the daily management of product output and quality.

Provide direction and training to the first line staff.

Offer feedback on performance levels and concerns of all departmental staff.

Provide hands on production support as is needed.

Complete required paperwork/documentation for production levels, quality gaps, and communications.

Act as interim supervisor during times of brief absence of the Production Supervisor.

Assist the Production Supervisor in identifying labor demands to optimize production output.

Stage daily product for processing.

Monitor production processes, ensuring the compliance of all safety procedures, regulations and guidelines.

Evaluate manufacturing equipment as needed and ensure maintenance is completed.

May be required to work opposing shifts as required.
Qualifications:
The successful candidate will have:

High School education or equivalent.

Three years minimum of experience in a production environment.

Excellent communication skills.
-
Forklift training, certification, or experience preferred.
The hours for this position are Monday through Friday, 7:00 am to 3:30 pm. The pay rate for this position starts at $21.67 (DOE) and includes an outstanding, zero deductible benefits plan, 2 weeks PTO, 401(k), and an opportunity to work with an incredible team.
