Job Title: Scholar Well-Being Program Manager

Job Description:
We seek a dedicated and compassionate individual to join our team as the Scholar Well-Being Program Manager. In this role, you will be responsible for managing all aspects of our scholar well-being program, which focuses on supporting our scholars' mental, emotional, and physical health. You will work closely with scholars, families, staff, and community partners to ensure that our scholars have access to the resources and support they need to thrive academically and personally.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement a comprehensive scholar well-being program that addresses the mental, emotional, and physical health needs of our scholars
- Collaborate with staff, scholars, families, and community partners to identify and address well-being concerns and develop appropriate interventions
- Provide individual referrals and group support to scholars who are experiencing mental health challenges, stress, or trauma
- Coordinate and facilitate workshops, events, and activities focused on mental health, self-care, and well-being
- Develop and maintain relationships with external agencies, organizations, and professionals to provide additional support and resources for scholars
- Create and maintain a safe and supportive environment for scholars to express their feelings, concerns, and needs
- Stay informed about best practices in mental health, trauma-informed care, and youth development to enhance the program
- Collaborate with administration and staff to integrate well-being initiatives into the overall culture and curriculum
- Provide crisis intervention and support as needed for scholars in distress
- Supervise the emotional wellness and fitness specialists, leading the development of comprehensive wellness activities.
- Ensure scholars complete bi-annual dental check-ins, annual physicals, and other wellness check-ins as needed
- Log all data as needed into our Salesforce database
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree required, Master's degree preferred in social work, counseling, psychology, or a related field
- Previous experience working with youth in a mental health or social services setting
- Strong understanding of trauma-informed care, mental health issues, and youth development
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work collaboratively with diverse stakeholders, including scholars, families, staff, and community partners
- Experience developing and implementing programs or initiatives focused on well-being and mental health
- Knowledge of best practices in mental health and youth development
- CPR/First Aid certification and experience in crisis intervention preferred

Pay: $55,000.00 - $60,000.00 per year
