Responsibilities
- Administering medications in a professional, accurate and timely manner
- Count narcotics at each change of shift
- Apply treatments to residents using proper technique
- Complete resident assessments as needed
- Monitor and assist NACs as needed in resident care
- Chart all pertinent information in residents’ charts
- Complete incident reporting as necessary
- Alert charge nurse of medication order needs
Qualifications
- Ideal candidate is an RN or LPN with experience in long term care
- Proven experience as a restorative nurse or in a similar role in a healthcare setting
- Excellent assessment skills to identify residents’ functional limitations and formulate care plans
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team, while adhering to established protocols and guidelines
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills to interact effectively with residents, families, and healthcare professionals
- Demonstrated ability to multitask, prioritize responsibilities, and manage time efficiently
- Attention to detail and accuracy in documentation
- Compassionate and patient-centered approach
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Pay: $33.00 - $48.00 per hour
