Now Hiring Administrative Assistant (Direct Hire) in the West Houston area.
WORK ENVIRONMENT: In-Person (not remote or hybrid).
The Operations Administrator will be responsible for managing schedules, coordinating meetings, and maintaining accurate records and databases for our operations department. They will play a critical role in ensuring the smooth functioning of day-to-day operations by handling incoming and outgoing correspondence, assisting with data integrity, and providing general administrative support to the operations team. The ideal candidate will have a strong attention to detail, excellent communication skills, and the ability to multitask effectively in a fast-paced environment.

Coordinate and oversee daily operations activities to ensure smooth and efficient workflow.

Manage schedules, appointments, and meetings for the operations team.

Assist in the development and implementation of operational policies and procedures.

Maintain accurate records and documentation related to operations activities and databases.

Handle inquiries and communications from internal and external stakeholders.

Support the procurement process by liaising with vendors and managing data integrity.

Monitor and analyze operational data to identify areas for improvement.

Help streamline operational processes and improve efficiency where possible.

Collaborate with other departments to streamline processes and enhance overall efficiency.

Contribute to special projects and initiatives aimed at enhancing operational effectiveness.

Assist in conducting research and gathering data for operational analysis.

Aid in the preparation of reports and presentations for management meetings.

Provide general administrative support to the Vice President of Operations and team members as needed.

Inhance Operations processes for sales success.

Work on any other requests that the VP of Operations from time to time may need.
Requirements:
Retail energy provider experience preferred (ERCOT and PJM Markets)

Experience with complex processes and personnel management.
Experience with EDGEonDemand.com CRM a plus.

Ability to multitask, as well as set priorities and meet deadlines.

Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.

Strong organizational and multitasking skills with superior attention to detail.

Proficiency in Microsoft Office and other relevant software applications.

Education: Associates Degree in administration, operations management, accounting, or other related fields preferred
PAY RATE: $40-$50K per year
