Job Overview:
We are seeking a skilled Paralegal to join our legal team. The ideal candidate will have experience in legal administrative tasks, document management, and legal research. The candidate must be independent and have knowledge about the structure of matrimonial and family law matters.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct legal research using tools such as Westlaw
- Assist attorneys in preparing for interviews and hearings
- Manage and organize legal documents using document management systems
- Review and proofread legal documents for accuracy
- Write reports and correspondence under attorney supervision
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Paralegal or in a similar role
- Proficiency in document review and management software like Time59
- Strong knowledge of legal terminology and procedures
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently
- Attention to detail and strong organizational skills
