Position Overview:
We are seeking a motivated and energetic Business Development Representative to join our dynamic team. As an BDR at COVU, you will play a crucial role in driving our growth by identifying and creating new business opportunities through inbound and outbound sales efforts.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead Generation: Identify and qualify potential customers through various channels including social media, email, and phone calls.
- Initial Outreach: Conduct cold calls and send emails to prospects to introduce COVU's solutions and schedule appointments for the sales team.
- Prospect Research: Gather and analyze information about potential clients to tailor outreach and communication.
- Pipeline Management: Maintain accurate records of leads and prospects in the CRM system, ensuring all information is up-to-date.
- Collaboration: Work closely with the sales team to develop strategies for targeting prospects and meeting lead generation goals.
- Follow-up: Regularly follow up with leads to nurture relationships and move them through the sales funnel.
Required Qualifications:
- 2 years of experience in business development, lead generation, or a related field, preferably in the insurance distribution, InsurTech or SaaS industry.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to engage prospects effectively.
- Self-motivated with a strong desire to succeed and achieve goals.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Comfortable using CRM software and other sales tools.
