Do you have a P.E. license?
-
Are you on track to get a P.E. license in the next 4 years?
-
Are you interested in having a seat at the design table, where you can work directly with the design team to help clients in an impactful way?
If you answered ‘yes’ to any of these questions and you have a degree in civil engineering, we want to talk to you.
GMC is a design firm with full geotechnical capabilities, including accredited laboratories. This rare combination of abilities allows our geotechnical engineers to be an active part of the design rather than merely being a “third party” consultant.
GMC Nashville has a combination of local and regional projects that require geotechnical expertise. We have a mix of ongoing/upcoming projects involving slope stability assessments, karst/sinkhole assessments, airport pavement design, geophysical evaluations, and many other applications that require thoughtful subsurface explorations, creative engineering solutions that incorporate geotechnical elements into the overall design concept, and of course, effective communication with clients and the design team throughout the process.
Our immediate needs include a Geotechnical Manager, Senior Engineer, and Staff Engineer. We expect growth opportunities in the next 3 to 5 years will include management of the Nashville Geotechnical operations as well as regional management opportunities.
Our atmosphere is collaborative and sometimes fast paced. We also try to have a little fun along the way.
Essential functions and responsibilities will vary, depending on actual position, but will include engineering and consulting related to:
-
Subsurface explorations
-
Laboratory testing
-
Geotechnical Engineering Analysis
-
Construction Materials Testing
Minimum Qualifications:
