Summary
The primary job function is to assist in the financial recovery from salvageable vehicles by performing various support and administrative duties.
Essential Job Functions

This is a fully remote role, therefore, you must have the ability to work in a quiet space with no distractions and have access to high-speed internet.

Request required title transfer documents from the owner or interested parties

Analyzes vehicle title transfer documents for accuracy; provides the Total Loss adjuster with validation to move forward in the claim
-
Follow up with the owner or interested party for the necessary documents needed to process salvage vehicles
-
Secures physical and electronic documents based on document retention requirements and guidelines
-
Examines and follows up on Owner Retain Salvage Title, vendor, or the DMV to be mailed to the customer

Prepares and mails letters to vehicle owners and interested parties
-
Staying current on compliance and regulatory changes within state agencies regulating motor vehicles

Update process guides and reference material as needed

Validate that assignments are created with the salvage vendor

Track the status of the assignments for progress

Approving advance charges through the vendor

Maintains assignment ownership in the vendor system

Review vehicle details to set reserves on all salvage vehicles before being cleared for sale

Review daily offers for approval
-
Reviews to ensure inventory is being managed timely
Desired Qualifications

Requires a minimum of a high school degree

Experience using a computer and industry knowledge of state vehicle titling requirements

Minimum 7-10 years of automotive salvage or total loss experience required

Excellent phone etiquette skills, needs to be assertive
