```Duties```English/ Spanish a must
- Greet and check-in patients, ensuring a positive and welcoming experience
- Schedule and confirm patient appointments, both in-person and over the phone
- Verify patient insurance information and collect necessary co-pays or fees
- Maintain patient records and update information as needed
- Assist with medical administrative tasks such as filing, faxing, and scanning documents
- Provide administrative support to medical staff as needed
- Follow HIPAA guidelines to ensure patient privacy and confidentiality
- Collaborate with other departments, such as billing or medical records, to ensure smooth operations
```Requirements```
English Primary/ Spanish Secondary language
- Previous experience in a medical receptionist or administrative role preferred
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with patients and staff
- Proficient in medical scheduling software (e.g., Epic) and other office applications (e.g., Microsoft Office)
- Knowledge of medical terminology and procedures is a plus
- Familiarity with HIPAA regulations and guidelines
- Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail
