Care One Pharmacy is currently hiring experienced Certified Pharmacy Technician(s) for openings in our Adjudication department. We are looking for eager to learn, go-getters to join our team
The Adjudication department submits batches in real-time and addresses claim rejection or issues related to the prescriptions submitted. In addition, the adjudicator corresponds with designated facility staff for medication high dollar approvals and creates communication memo's regarding billing related issues to be sent to the facility management/nursing staff.
Prior pharmacy technician experience is required for the adjudication position. Applicants should be able to navigate computer programs, handle customer service phone calls, and the ability to work on timelines. If you have been waiting for an opportunity to get into the pharmacy adjudication/billing field this is your chance! Schedule would be a Monday through Friday with rotating weekends and Holidays.
Requirements:
- Minimum of 3 years of private pay, third part, Medicare Part A, Managed Care, Hospice and Medicaid Billing and Processes
- Certified Licensed Pharmacy Technician in good standing in IL
- Excellent Organizational Skills and Detailed Oriented
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel and other Office
- Experience with Long-Term Care Billing preferred
- Prior experience with FW software ideal
- Ability to work well with others and meet timelines
- Pass a pre-employment criminal background test
- Proven record of reliability through references
This is a Full-Time on site position with required rotating weekends and holidays. Shifts available are 12-8:30PM and 2PM-10:30PM only.
