HR Generalist with Specialization in HRIS

Salary Range: $48,000-$51,000K annually
What the position looks like:
The Human Resources Generalist supports business partners with all Human Resources needs including safety, employee relations, compensation, performance management, and compliance with employment laws, regulations, and policy.
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS/RESPONSABILITES:

Oversees and maintains optimal function of the HRIS, which may include installation, customizations, development, maintenance, and upgrade to applications, systems, and modules.

Provides technical support, trouble shooting, and guidance to HRIS users.

Supports compensation program and monitors performance evaluation system.

Manages permissions, access, personalization, and similar system operations and settings for HRIS users.

Compiles or assists with the acquisition of complex data reports, summaries, and logs for senior leadership and HR staff.

Submits online investigation requests, assists with new employee background checks and employee eligibility verifications

Performs customer service functions by answering employee requests and questions.

Works closely with employees and business partners to improve work relationships, build morale and increase retention.
- Ensures compliance with all related employment laws, regulations, and policies including posting of required documents in all assigned lines of business. Maintains records as required to maintain compliance.
- Works closely with members of the Compliance Team to implement new hire orientation.

Participates as an active member of the Human Resources team to recognize potential areas of improvement, make suggestions, and work to improve processes and deliver exceptional service to other Summit employees.
- Performs other duties as assigned.

Physical Requirements:

Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer.

Must be able to lift up to 15 pounds at times.

POSITION QUALIFICATIONS:
-
Associate’s degree in business, Human Resources or related field, preferred. Equivalent knowledge, skills and experience may qualify.
- A minimum of 1 years experience with HRIS and human resources required.
