Quality & Inventory Control Manager W. Silver Recycling – Santa Teresa, NM

Functional Responsibilities:
- Develops and implements the necessary quality control practices and inventory alignment procedures to ensure acceptable and accurate material is ready for final sale.
- Responsible of establishing clear inventory visibility of finished goods available across the network (all WSR locations for Ferrous and Non-Ferrous material)
- Establishes quality standards based on alloys and grading for the correct classification of the inventory (system vs. physical)
- Develops and deploys different quality standards and filters across the production and finished good processes to define and execute accepted tolerances, inventory classification, packaging conditions, acceptable weights and volume, and any relevant characteristic for final sale.
- Generates CAR’s and 5 why analysis on any quality rejects to establish root-cause identification, corrective/preventive actions and training.
- Responsible of coordinating the calibration of any equipment and retaining records for all locations (truck scales/operational scales, radiation records, etc.)
- Coordinates inventory transfers amongst locations within the network.
- Executes continuous cycle count programs and works with the finance team to reconcile and adjust in system if needed.
- Reviews and coordinates the inventory classification in the receiving stage to make sure each commodity and alloy will have a final shipping group (purchase to sale flow)
- Coordinates and validates “End of the Month” cycle count results by location as needed.
- Promotes best practice sharing across all WSR locations including (but not limited) to ROM reporting, classifications, training tools, barcode system use quality procedures common to all facilities.
- Responsible of coordinating annual physical inventory by each location
Required Education and Experience
- Bachelor’s degree
- 5+ years of experience in Quality disciplines and tools, problem resolution, and continued development
- High Manufacturing experience is preferably desired
Additional Eligibility Qualifications
- Bilingual (English/Spanish)
- Will be based out of our Santa Teresa, NM facility and will require flexibility to travel to other locations is necessary
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $70,000.00 - $85,000.00 per year
