**Job Summary:** We are seeking a friendly and organized Front Desk Agent to join our hospitality team at a leading resort. As the first point of contact for guests, the Front Desk Agent plays a crucial role in ensuring a warm and welcoming experience for all visitors. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service, handling hotel operations, and maintaining the highest level of professionalism. **Responsibilities:** - Greet and check-in guests in a friendly and efficient manner, ensuring all relevant information is collected and accurate. - Manage hotel reservations, including answering phone calls, responding to emails, and processing online bookings. - Provide guests with information on hotel services, amenities, and local attractions. - Handle guest requests and resolve any issues promptly and professionally. - Maintain a clean and organized front desk area, ensuring all documents and supplies are readily available. - Perform night audits, ensuring all financial transactions are accurate and up-to-date. - Utilize phone systems to communicate effectively with guests and colleagues. - Demonstrate excellent customer service skills, ensuring every guest feels valued and respected. - Collaborate with other departments, including housekeeping, maintenance, and food and beverage, to provide a seamless guest experience. - Maintain a positive and welcoming atmosphere in the lobby area, including ensuring the temperature and lighting are comfortable for guests. **Experience:** - Previous experience in hospitality management or a similar industry is highly desirable. - A strong understanding of customer service principles and practices. - Proven ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment. - Experience with phone systems and hotel operations is essential. - Ability to lift up to 25 pounds and stand for extended periods. - High school diploma or equivalent is required. - A degree in hospitality management or a related field is an asset. - A positive attitude, excellent communication skills, and a friendly demeanor are a must.
