We are seeking a skilled Restoration Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience in various restoration techniques and a strong understanding of the restoration industry. The position is responsible forproviding quality water damage restoration and remediation services. Additional accountabilities include, but not limited to: ensuring all actions are completed in a safe manner; following instructions on work orders; working as a team; maintains a consistent flow of communication with team; driving company vehicles; and, taking before and after pictures.
EDUCATIONAL REQUIREMENTS
- High School Diploma or GED required
- IICRC Certifications desired but not mandatory
EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS
- 2 year experience and or training desired but not mandatory
- Demonstrated ability to work as a team
- Demonstrated ability to learn and utilize new skills
- Proficient skills in Microsoft Office suite desired; photo taking skills a plus
- Professional personal presentation
- High level of interpersonal skills to handle sensitive and confidential situations required
- Valid driver license required
- Ability to follow safety protocols and guidelines during restoration projects
- Ability to handle changing priorities and achieve desired objectives required
- Ability to communicate verbally and in writing to all levels of the company and clients
- Ability to maintain poise, tact and diplomacy required
- Ability to work days, nights and weekends and adjust scheduled to meet business needs
ACCOUNTABILITIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Perform water damage restoration, mold remediation, and remediation tasks
- Utilize hand tools and power tools to clean, and restore damaged areas
- Follow safety protocols and guidelines during restoration projects.
- Work efficiently to meet project deadlines and quality standards.
- Ensures all work is completed per work order instructions and ensures work orders are then completed with all proper time and notes captured
- Follow rules, policies, regulations as outlined in company handbook
- Must be able to fulfill essential job function in a consistent state of alertness and safe manner
- You will be required to stand and walk, frequently required to use hands to fingers, handle, or feel and reach with hands and arms, occasionally required to sit, climb or balance and stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl, frequently lift and or up to 75 pounds.
- Communicate issues, concerns and questions to supervisor
- Maintains the ability to take pro-active and creative approaches in resolving any challenges
- Understand and accurately performs water damage restoration
- Complete work order documentation, before/after pictures after each job and notify supervisor of any special circumstances.
- Responsible for maintaining a safe work area including the use of caution signs and barriers
- Be able to drive company vehicles to and from client locations
- Responsible for care and cleanliness of cleaning equipment and vehicles
- Report to work on time and in proper uniform
- Pursue obtaining IICRC certifications in water damage restoration

- Consistently maintain safety standards throughout the duration of water damage projects
- Ensure consistent, accurate communication and alignment of efforts within the team
- Obtain IICRC Water Damage Restoration Certification
- Adherence to all policies and procedures
