College Graduate with Current Indiana License in good standing. BLS, Chemotherapy/Immunotherapy certification preferred upon hire or will be obtained within 3 months & must be maintained. Oncology Certified Nurse (OCN) certification is preferred. Accountable & responsible for the provision & coordination of competent, evidence-based care along the care continuum, which includes assessment, formulating a nursing diagnosis, outcome identification, planning, implementing & evaluating the patient plan of care.
The RN communicates, collaborates & works with other members of the health team to provide safe, effective, efficient quality care. The clinical nurse participates in decision-making, teaching, & mentoring. Administering oncology/hematology treatments & support; patient education; coordinating patient care with supportive disciplines & in-home therapies; supporting patients & providers before/during/after clinic visits; assisting with Prior Authorizations; audits & data collection to support continuous Performance Improvement for the Department.
This position is full-time, 80% Days.
