The Sr. PeopleSoft Applications Developer will analyze and design integrated solutions within the PeopleSoft Financials environment.
- Translate business requirements into technical solutions.
- Operate in a production support environment performing troubleshooting in real-time.
- Perform application configurations and setup within PeopleSoft applications.
- Code solutions based on specifications, including application customizations, custom reports and interfaces.
- Debug code and recommend/ implement program improvements through the unit testing process.
- Troubleshoot problems with PeopleSoft applications and environments.
- Participate in system and integration testing.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science; Information Technology; Computer Engineering; or related, or equivalent, and
- 5 years of experience as Sr. PeopleSoft (PS) Applications Developer; People Soft (PS) Applns. Developer; PS Consultant, Applns. Develpmt; Sr. Systems Analyst - PS; Techno-Functional Lead, PS Applns. Develpmt.
- 5 years of industry experience as applications developer including
- 5 yrs. developing complex customizations in PeopleSoft v8.x or higher, including App. Designer; People Code; App. Engine; PSQuery; SQL, SQR; Integration Broker and Component Interfaces;
- experience working with Oracle DBMS;
- advanced knowledge of PeopleSoft FIN table infrastructure;
- demonstrated knowledge in PeopleSoft FIN modules, GL, AP, Expenses, and Workflow;
- demonstrated troubleshooting skills.
