Applicants must meet the following minimum requirements:
- MUST have a working knowledge of Texas Childcare Licensing Minimum Standards and at least four years of experience in a licensed childcare setting in the state of Texas working with children 6wks - 5yrs of age.
- MUST hold either a Child Development Associate (CDA) OR a Bachelor’s degree or higher in early childhood education or related field.
- Ideal Candidates will have at least 1 year of school leadership experience (in a school with capacity of 100 children or more)
- Ideal candidate will be fluent in both Spanish and English with ability to read, write, and speak.
Assistant Director of Operations will support with all aspects of school compliance and operation including but not limited to:
- Ensure compliance with Texas Childcare Licensing Minimum Standards
- Ensure all child and staff files are complete and in compliance with minimum standards
- Ensure classrooms are in compliance with minimum standards at all times
- Management of teaching team - providing coaching and training as needed to meet minimum standards
- You’ll help ensure learning spaces are organized, clean, and inviting
- Sales and marketing
- Build positive relationships with families, children, and staff providing pro-active and responsive support as needed
- Ensuring compliance with health/safety guidelines, regulating agencies, and Kido
- Ensure completion of daily/weekly/monthly health and safety checks
- Taking an active role in supporting the growth and development of your school
- Offering recommendations about how we can improve our offerings and always push the boundaries of excellence.
