Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our healthcare team.
As an LPN, you will provide direct patient care under the supervision of a registered nurse or physician.
Your primary responsibility will be to ensure the well
-being and comfort of patients while adhering to all medical protocols and standards.
Responsibilities:
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by healthcare providers
- Monitor and record vital signs, such as blood pressure, temperature, and heart rate
- Assist with physical examinations and provide support during procedures
- Collaborate with the healthcare team to develop and implement patient care plans
- Document patient information, including medical history, symptoms, and progress
- Educate patients and their families on health management and self-care techniques
- Provide emotional support to patients and their families during challenging times
- Assist in coordinating patient referrals to specialists or other healthcare facilities
- Ensure compliance with infection control protocols and maintain a sterile environment
- Adhere to all safety guidelines and maintain confidentiality of patient information Requirements:
- Valid LPN license in ARIZONA
- Minimum of 2 years of experience as an LPN in a healthcare setting
- Proficiency in electronic health record systems such as Cerner or Epic
- Knowledge of various medical procedures, including physical examinations and sterile processing
- Experience working with diverse patient populations, including children and individuals requiring critical care or hospice care
- Strong communication skills with the ability to effectively interact with patients, families, and healthcare professionals
- Ability to prioritize tasks and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
