Position Overview:
Replications seeks an innovative and strategic Chief Program Officer (CPO) to lead our dynamic team of Program Managers and Community School Directors in shaping and delivering impactful educational programs. As a member of our senior leadership team, you will play a pivotal role in driving programmatic excellence, ensuring alignment with our mission, and fostering a culture of continuous improvement.
Responsibilities:
Program Implementation & Staff Development:
- Lead the implementation of Replications' school-based programs, systems, and practices in collaboration with Program Managers.
- Collaborate with Program Managers and school leadership to shape and implement Replications' vision and strategies, aligning with overall goals.
- Ensure weekly progress monitoring, data collection, and analysis for continuous improvement.
- Oversee staff development initiatives, including onboarding, training, and professional development initiatives.
School Partnerships & Staffing:
- Meet regularly with school principals to ensure programs function effectively and meet shared objectives.
- Partner with school leadership to identify staffing needs and support efforts to recruit high-quality Program Managers and Community School Directors.
Organizational Growth & Advancement:
- Participate actively in Replications' leadership team, contributing to the organization's development and growth.
- Champion a growth mindset culture within all teams, encouraging continuous learning and improvement.
Data & Continuous Improvement:
- Lead the development and implementation of data-focused systems for ongoing program evaluation and enhancement.
- Analyze data to identify trends and inform program adjustments for greater effectiveness.
Team Culture & Support:
- Foster a collaborative and supportive environment within teams, emphasizing equity, innovation, honest feedback, and transparency.
- Guide and empower Program Managers and school-based teams in fulfilling their roles and responsibilities effectively.

- Secure Resources: Manage grant funding to support program development and sustainability.
- Advocate & Build Visibility: Champion the organization's mission and programs to external stakeholders, securing support and expanding impact.
- Stay Ahead of the Curve: Remain informed on educational trends and best practices, seeking innovative program models to benefit NYC students.
Qualifications:
Education & Experience:
- Master's degree in educational leadership, or a related field (PhD preferred).
- Minimum 10 years of experience designing, implementing, and evaluating educational programs, preferably in NYC public schools or non-profits.
- Proven track record of leading and motivating program teams.
Skills & Knowledge:
- Strong understanding of NYC public schools and their unique challenges.
- Strategic thinking and ability to translate vision into action plans.
- Excellent communication, collaboration, and interpersonal skills.
- Data analysis and interpretation skills.
- Effective time management, goal setting, problem-solving, and decision-making.
- Group facilitation skills.

Salary range: $100,000 - $135,000 per year
