Job Overview:
We are seeking a skilled and motivated Analytical Chemist to join our dynamic R&D team. The successful candidate will be responsible for performing complex analytical testing and method development to support the production and quality control of our chemical products. This role requires a deep understanding of analytical techniques, meticulous attention to detail, and a passion for problem-solving.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform qualitative and quantitative analyses of raw materials, intermediates, and finished products using various analytical techniques (e.g., HPLC, GC-MS, NMR, FTIR, UV-Vis spectroscopy).
- Develop, optimize, and validate analytical methods to ensure accuracy, precision, and reliability. Document and report method development processes and results.
- Conduct routine quality control testing to ensure compliance with internal and external standards. Investigate and resolve any quality issues that arise during production.
- Interpret and analyze complex data sets, preparing detailed reports and presenting findings to the R&D team and other stakeholders.
- Ensure all analytical activities comply with relevant industry regulations (e.g., GMP, GLP) and company policies.
- Maintain and calibrate laboratory equipment, manage chemical inventories, and ensure a clean and safe working environment.
- Work closely with cross-functional teams, including production, quality assurance, and regulatory affairs, to support product development and improvement initiatives.
- Stay current with advancements in analytical chemistry and recommend new techniques or technologies to improve laboratory efficiency and accuracy.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Chemistry, Analytical Chemistry, or a related field.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in an analytical chemistry role within the chemical manufacturing industry.
- Experience in GC-MS, LC-MS, Wet Chemistry, High Resolution Preparation and Analysis
- FAS (microplastics) experience is a plus.

Pay: $50,704.15 - $61,063.06 per year
