We are working with a client who is seeking compassionate and dedicated individuals to join the team as Home Health Aides. As a Home Health Aide, you will provide essential care and support to clients in their homes. This is a rewarding opportunity to make a positive impact on the lives of others.
Responsibilities
- Assist clients with activities of daily living, including bathing, dressing, and grooming
- Monitor and record vital signs, such as blood pressure and temperature
- Provide companionship and emotional support to clients
- Administer medications as directed by healthcare professionals
- Assist with mobility and transfers
- Help with light housekeeping tasks, such as laundry and meal preparation
- Document client care activities and report any changes in condition to the appropriate healthcare professionals
- Provide specialized care for clients with dementia or memory impairments
- Support individuals with developmental disabilities in their daily routines
Requirements
- Valid certification as a Home Health Aide or completion of a recognized training program
- Experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities is preferred
- Knowledge of catheter care and experience in administering medications is a plus
- Familiarity with medical record keeping systems is beneficial
- Ability to maintain a clean and organized work environment
- Excellent communication skills and ability to build rapport with clients and their families
- Compassionate and patient demeanor when providing care
- Flexibility to adapt to changing schedules and client needs
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Pay: $20.00 - $23.37 per hour
Expected hours: 20 – 40 per week
