Job Summary:
We are seeking a Business Systems Analyst to join our team at NASA Federal Credit Union. This role is pivotal in enhancing operational efficiency and supporting our strategic objectives.
Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with business units to refine and improve existing processes.
- Provide ongoing support for in-house developed software, ensuring optimal performance.
- Conduct requirements gathering to inform system design and implementation.
- Develop and deliver comprehensive reports to stakeholders, facilitating informed decision-making.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Proven experience in programming, particularly with .NET or MS-SQL.
- Familiarity with programming concepts.
- Experience with UiPath will be considered an advantage.
- Exceptional communication skills are crucial, with the ability to articulate technical concepts to non-technical audiences.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities: include the following with other duties that may be assigned.
Level I:
- Designs, develops, and implements software and hardware solutions, systems, or products with proven experience.
- Understands the organization’s goals and objectives.
- Creates system models, specifications, diagrams, and charts using Microsoft Visio.
- Possesses excellent research, troubleshooting, and fact-finding skills.
- Possesses extensive experience with core software applications.
- Demonstrates an understanding of basic programming concepts (sequence of commands, conditional structures, looping structures, etc.).
- Considers most business implications of the application of technology to the current business environment.
Level II:(In addition to the requirements of Level I)
- Uses technical knowledge of programming languages at NASA Federal, including, but not limited to, PowerOn, .NET (C#/VB), Python, T-SQL.
- Applies working knowledge of network and PC operating systems.
- Working knowledge of current network hardware, protocols, and standards.
- Possesses extensive practical knowledge in importing data for use in report software, spreadsheets, graphs, and flow charts.
- Oversees the design, development, and implementation of software and hardware solutions, systems, or products.
- Demonstrates the ability to work independently in some phases of system analysis and considers the business implications of the application of technology to the current business environment.
Level III:(In addition to the requirements of Level I & II)
- Demonstrates project management skills.
- Utilizes process automation using an Enterprise Scheduler and/or RPA tools.
- Demonstrates proven experience in the operation and analysis of database hardware, software, and standards, as well as data retrieval methodologies and mainframe applications.
- Oversees the design, development, and implementation of software and hardware solutions, systems, or products.
- Works at the highest technical level of most phases of systems analysis and considers the business implications of the application of technology to current and future business environments.
- Guides and advises less-experienced Business Systems Analysts under general direction.
Education and Experience:
- Foreign countries and U.S. territories are not eligible locations for remote work.
Level I:
- Minimum of one year of combined Business Administration, Computer Science, Accounting, or Management Information systems experience required (unless skills are deemed appropriate by the CIO/VP of Technology Services).

- Minimum of three years of combined Business Administration, Computer Science, Accounting, or Management Information systems experience required (unless skills are deemed appropriate by the CIO/VP of Technology Services).
Level III: (In addition to the requirements of Level I & II)
- Minimum of five years of combined Business Administration, Computer Science, Accounting, or Management Information systems experience required (unless skills are deemed appropriate by the CIO/VP of Technology Services).
