What You'll do:
Lead development efforts consisting of multiple developers or multi-thread development projects.
Collaborate with end users, business analysts, and systems analysts to determine features, requirements, and solution design.
Design, document, and enforce architectural and design standards.
Gather and drive stakeholder requirements and product vision through the planning, analysis, development, and testing phases.
Possess a thorough understanding of the data, sources, and relationships of data.
Troubleshoot and resolve complex application issues as needed.
Develop, upgrade, test, implement, and document software components of client applications.
Work independently within teams throughout all phases of the development lifecycle.
Communicate with end users, business analysts, and systems analysts to determine features, requirements, and solution design.
Develop enhancements to a suite of applications using leading software principles.
Document technical specifications and designs.
Adhere to established design, coding, naming, and standards.
Participate in code reviews and apply corrections as required.
Adhere to change control processes.
Write/revise documentation, including operations and user guidelines.

Required Experience:
BA/BS in Computer Science or a related field, or an equivalent combination of education and/or experience.
3-5 years of experience in software application development.
Advanced knowledge of software tools, platforms, and processes required to support the associated technology stack: TypeScript/JavaScript, React, IaC (CloudFormation/Terraform/AWS SAM), CDK, Serverless Framework, AWS (S3, ECS, Fargate, ECR, RDS, SSM, SES, Lambda, MSK, Step Functions, API Gateway, CloudFront, Route 53), Kafka (Event-Driven Architectures), OpenSearch/ElasticSearch.
CI/CD pipeline experience (GitHub Actions, Jenkins, etc.)
Good understanding of unit testing, including how and when to write tests.
Automated testing experience (Playwright, Cypress, Selenium, etc.) is a plus.
Solid knowledge of the various types of databases, how they differ, the benefits each offers, and experience working with any ORMs.

The salary range for this role takes into account the wide range of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions including but not limited to skill sets; experience and training; licensure and certifications; and other business and organizational needs. The disclosed range estimate has not been adjusted for any applicable geographic differential associated with the location at which the position may be filled. At Groundswell, it is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the range for their role and compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case. A reasonable estimate of the current range is:
