Our detox/residential facilities are seeking all interested in being a Residential Advisor (a.k.a. Recovery Support Advisor, Behavioral Health Technician, or Support Technician) serving adult residents in either our Woodland Hills, Studio City, Canoga Park, Van Nuys, Santa Ana, or San Diego facilities.

Available positions/shifts:
- Full time 40 hours weekly, part-time, and flex/on-call positions available
- Typical shifts include: 7:30am – 4pm, 3:30pm – 12am, 11:30pm – 8am
Residential facilities are open 365 days a year and 24 hours a day

Primary Job Responsibilities (Typical Day):
- Waking up clients
- Giving Assessments every 4 hours
- Client Safety rounds every 20 minutes
- Ensure a clean, safe, and home-like environment
- Socializing with clients
- Communication with other departments
- Ensure that clients are following daily schedule
- Monitoring UAs and self-administered medications
- Conducting searches of both clients and facility grounds
- Documenting client behaviors, concerns, and successes

Requirements:
- First aid CPR certification
- RADT certification through CCAPP
- Driver’s license with an insurable driving record
- Another form of ID (2 in total)
- Present professionally in demeanor and appearance
- Pass a physical health screening, a drug test, and a TB test

Preferred (not required–training provided):
- Some knowledge of addiction, either personal or from work experience
- Hands-on experience with addicts
- EMR knowledge (Kipu preferred)
- Knowledge of detox protocols and medications
- Basic medical knowledge and familiarity with medications
- Basic computer knowledge and familiarity with Microsoft Office programs
- If in recovery, 1-year minimum sobriety
