Loyola Elementary™ is the first independent Catholic school originally established in Doral, Florida in 2017, we then moved to Miami Springs, FL in August 2022. Formerly known as Kids Village Art and Music Preschool, Loyola grew to incorporate Elementary grade levels starting in the school year 2017-2018 and is now opening their first sixth-grade class in August 2024.
We are currently accepting applications from highly qualified middle school teachers. We are looking for motivated individuals, with experience in teaching and with a strong moral foundation. The selected candidates will be trained to incorporate the Ignatian Pedagogical Paradigm into their abilities in the classroom.

Job Description: As a teacher, you’ll play a crucial role in shaping the lives of young people. You’ll inspire, motivate, and encourage a new generation of learners and guide them to make a positive impact in the world around them. A Teacher is responsible for preparing lesson plans and educating students at all levels. Their duties include assigning homework, grading tests, and documenting progress. Teachers must be able to instruct in a variety of subjects and reach students with engaging lesson plans. Be able to teach in-person and online in synchronicity.
Duties:
- Develop and implement lesson plans that meet the educational standards and align with the school's mission.
- Foster a classroom environment conducive to learning and creativity, and encourage student participation in lessons and other school-related activities.
- Assess and evaluate student progress and behavior, providing regular feedback and support to students and parents.
- Allocate and grade homework, assignments, and tests.
- Prepare and distribute periodic progress reports and semester report cards.
- Schedule and attend parent-teacher meetings.
- Ensure the highest standards of quality and apply the most up-to-date teaching methods.
- Take part in opportunities to boost your own learning and continuous professional development.
- Ensure your classroom is clean and orderly and provide a safe, thriving, and respectful environment for all students in the classroom.
- Exercise open and respectful communication with families, co-workers, supervisors, and other school staff.
- Collaborate with other teachers and staff to enhance the overall educational experience.
- Participate in school events, extracurricular activities, and professional development opportunities.
- Uphold the values and principles of the Catholic faith in all interactions and teachings.
Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in teaching or relevant field. A minimum of 2 years experience as a teacher. In-depth knowledge of teaching methods and educational procedures. Outstanding written and verbal communication skills. Well-organized with excellent leadership skills. Teaching credential/certificate/license for corresponding age/grade level. Physical ability to handle frequent sitting, stooping, bending, pushing, pulling, and moving throughout the room. Demonstrate ability to develop and implement age-appropriate curriculum.
