Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Lead Teacher to join our team. As a Lead Teacher, you will be responsible for providing educational support and guidance to students. You will implement the award winning Early Foundation curriculum and create teacher enhancement plan to make it your own and ensure the overall development and progress of each student.
Duties:
- Provide instruction in various subjects, including language and literacy , gross and fine motor skills, and cognitive development.
- Utilize evidence-based teaching strategies to promote student engagement and learning
- Collaborate with other teachers, professionals, and support staff to create a supportive and inclusive learning environment
- Monitor student progress and adjust instructional strategies as needed
- Implement positive behavior management techniques to promote positive behaviors and social skills development
- Conduct assessments and evaluations to track student progress
- Communicate regularly with parents/guardians regarding student performance and progress
- Participate in professional development opportunities to enhance teaching skills and stay updated on best practices in education
Requirements:
- Experience working with individuals with children
- Knowledge of behavior management techniques and strategies
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written
- Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team
- Patience, empathy, and a passion for working with children
