Job Description The Workday HR Analyst provides support to operational business partners to develop, implement, maintain, and improve configurations and processes within Workday. The Workday HR Analyst will be a subject matter expert in multiple functional areas within the Human Resources domain and will provide ongoing technical expertise and consultation on new and existing functionality, system upgrades, business processes, configurations, change management, and testing efforts. Partnering with key internal stakeholders and external vendors, you will solve technical problems as well as work on continual process improvement with the Workday Technology team to develop solutions leveraging Workday.
Experience
5 years of progressive experience working with human resources information systems, at least 3 years with Workday
Previous experience including active participation in system-related projects
Experience in analyzing, troubleshooting and resolving technical problems for complex systems
Experience with reporting tools such as Workday Reporting, Business Objects, etc.
Preferred Qualifications
Workday Pro in Benefits and/or Compensation
HRCI certification and/or PMI certification
Proficient in project management tools such as Microsoft Project, Smartsheet
Experience implementing Workday with deep product expertise and hands-on configuration skills
Strong understanding of organizational change management and user adoption methodologies
Consulting Experience
Education
Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Information Technology, Management Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field

Job Responsibilities
Own select Workday business processes and reports within HR Domain
Understand Children’s long- and short-term business strategy and challenges related to a functional area
Embrace a mindset of ongoing improvement to enhance processes and end-user experience
Develop in-depth knowledge of system capabilities, applications, and processes to function effectively as an educator and expert for system users
Function as business partner to operational owners, leaders, and staff
QA, troubleshoot and load EIB data for mass data management
Lead review sessions with operational owners and end users
Lead the creation or revision of functional requirements for business process and report changes
Partner with Workday configuration team to ensure functional requirements are successfully translated into technical solution
Collaborate with work group to develop and coordinate test scenarios, document results and resolve issues that arise out of testing
Work closely with the project team to track issues through resolution
Communicate risks and propose effective solutions
Utilize strong product knowledge and prior experiences to expertly troubleshoot and resolve escalated support issues
Collaborate with peers and third-party vendors to resolve customer issues, maintaining complete ownership of issues from beginning to resolution
Provide data to business owners using existing or new Workday custom reports
Partner with communications and training teams to develop content and delivery to promote user adoption
Understand key business processes from end user perspectives and recommend solutions that optimize Workday and eliminating manual processes
Evaluate relevant Workday issues and enhancement requests to determine prioritization, level of effort, and timing of delivery
