G&A Partners' client is currently seeking a Spot Producer Editor to join its team in College Park, GA.
Summary
The Spot Producer/Editor (SPE) has the primary responsibility for conceptualizing storyboarding, producing, and editing commercial spots, special segments and full-length special programming.
Responsibilities:
- Creates story boards, write and edits

Responsible for spots and special programs from conception to final edit
-
Develops concepts and storyboards for each assignment and submit to director for approval

Assembles recorded raw material into a finished product, suitable for direct response spots

Writes voiceovers, determines sound effects, music, font styles, color schemes, and soundbites

Performs quality control checks prior to submission to the director

Collaborates with other producers and the marketing team as needed

Assists other producers as directed

Remains up-to-date with changes in the industry

Maintains up-to-date Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs)

Performs other duties as assigned
Qualifications:
EDUCATION:
-
High School diploma required
-
BA in Broadcast Journalism, Media or Communications is preferred
-
Must have 5+ years of relevant experience in the media industry
EXPERIENCE:
-
Working knowledge and understanding of commercial and promotional techniques
-
Outstanding interpersonal and community relations skills
-
Ability to communicate and work effectively within a diverse group
-
Video production experience essential
-
Must possess strong writing skills
-
Must possess the ability to work in a collaborative, creative team environment

Must be adaptable and capable of working under the pressure of deadlines

Solid experience in television on-air promotions

Strong familiarity with English language (grammar, spelling, punctuation, etc)

Ability to learn new systems, processes, and procedures

A gracious, Christ-like demeanor in demanding situations
