Join our team of mortgage administrators to get hands on experience with solving business needs, collaborating with vendors, providing statistics and measurements, and solving routine software and usability problems.
The mortgage administrators at Keesler Federal are responsible for providing application support for core system (Empower LOS) and business applications used within the mortgage department.
The Mortgage Administrator Intern will be responsible for assisting the existing mortgage administrator and the management staff in the continued development and maintenance of the Empower LOS system utilized by the mortgage production staff. This candidate should be able to work well with others and adapt well to challenges.

Intern Responsibilities:
- Participates as a project resource on assigned initiatives.
- Performs professional duties in support of the mortgage production staff.
- Work under the guidance of mortgage administrator and director of mortgage sales to adequately meet demands of continued integration of a state-of-the-art LOS system.
- Other administrative duties such as triage tickets, CCR’s, and department meetings in relation to operating systems
- Testing updates and ensuring accuracy in deliverables
Intern Qualifications:
- Trustworthy, motivated, organized, and possess good communication skills.
- Microsoft suite proficiency including Excel, Access, and SQL
- Proven ability through previous employment, internship, community service, extra-curricular activities, or other involvement
- High level of confidentiality for member data and personal identifying information
- Must be at least a junior year college student currently enrolled in Computer Science, Information Systems, or Computer Engineering
