RESPONSIBILITIES
- Reviews and tracks design packages’ status, generates, and follows up with request for information (RFIs) or field design change requests.
- Assists with the planning, organization, and management of the day-to-day project operations.
- Attends job site meetings, if necessary, to monitor project progress and identify any issues or concerns.
- Prepare shop drawings, coordination drawings, or proposal drawings using AutoCAD.
- Assist in preparation of as-built drawings using Adobe PDF and/or BlueBeam.
- Prepare general correspondence when necessary.
- Be aware of meetings/appointments on calendars and remind if necessary.
- Persistent follow-up on all items requested from subcontractors/suppliers in order for the project to progress as scheduled.
- Performs other related duties as required and assigned.
REQUIREMENTS
- Bachelor's degree in civil engineering or related field
- Experience in the construction industry preferred
- Proficiency in project management software
- Familiarity with CAD and other PC software packages typically associated with engineering
- 5+ years of related work experience preferred
