Control System Technician

Responsibilities:
- Maintain the plant PLC and other control systems, hardware, and software.
- Ability to maintain different machines equipment and low voltage switchgears.
- Assist in troubleshooting plant equipment problems.
- Maintain Auto Cad electrical drawings.
- Help maintenance and production personnel to operate and maintain new equipment.
- Other duties as assigned.

Job Requirements :
- 5 years electrical experience in an industrial environment
- 5 years’ experience with programmable logic controllers, (Laned, Bradley, Omron, Siemens, and Mitsubishi).
- 5 years’ experience in control system design
- 2-year associate degree in controls and instrumentation, Prefer Bachelor of Science degree in Electrical Engineering
- Must be able to use network-based PC’s and have experience with AutoCAD version 13 or later.
- Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business and professional publications and technical procedures in English.
- Ability to effectively communicate information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, customers, and the public.
- Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, commissions, proportions, percentages, area, circumference, and volume.
- Ability to apply concepts of basic algebra and trigonometry.
- Ability to think logically and apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form.
Physical requirements:
Must be able to stand, walk, sit, lift and push
Ability to lift up to 40-45 pounds unassisted
Must be able to work in various weather and temperature conditions
Drive for 1 hour
Reach above shoulder level for up to 2 ½ hours to 5 ½ hours
Stand for 7 hours
Lift for 2 ½ to 5 ½ hours
Carry for up to 2 ½ hours
Walk for 7 hours
Bend/stoop for 2 ½ to 5 ½ hours
Squat and crouch for 2 up to 2 to 2 ½ hours
Kneel for up to 2 to 2 ½ hours
Push/pull for up to 2 ½ to 5 ½ hours
