Our team is looking for an assistant executive housekeeper to help lead a fantastic housekeeping crew. We offer paid vacation which accumulates from day one and is available after 6 months of work with us. This is a part time position but as the year gets busier there may be more hours to work. Job Overview
Responsible for assisting the Executive Housekeeper to achieve ongoing guest satisfaction and team goals through the maintenance, upkeep, and cleanliness of the rooms. They are responsible for helping to establish a friendly atmosphere of superior guest service and product quality and provide exemplary performance for the staff to follow

Essential Job Functions
· Maintain brand cleanliness standards for rooms and public areas and inspect them to ensure that standards are met
· Helps to train staff in all aspects of housekeeping
· Meets or exceeds hotel guest satisfaction measures
· Communicate to guests about hotel promotions, local attractions and points of interest
· Ensures employees know policies, pay procedures, bonus plans and benefits
· Uses ongoing safety training to minimize workers’ compensation claims
· Monitors and maintains acceptable turnover levels
· Maintains a positive, cooperative work environment between staff and management
· Resolves employee grievances in a fair and timely way
· Maintains inventory of supplies and ensures staff follows proper inventory/cost control procedures
· Understands “Right to Know” laws, which apply to housekeeping supplies and chemicals
· Recognizes and corrects conditions which may create security, fire, or accident hazard
