Your Responsiblity:
- Warehouse
○ Inbound/Receiving
■ Coordinate with purchasing department to understand schedule of incoming shipments
■ Coordinate with purchasing department and freight service providers to understand receiving needs
■ Plan and coordinate necessary resources (equipment, supplies, personnel, outside services, etc) to receive incoming shipments
■ Monitor the receiving process to ensure safe and efficient work flow
○ Inventory
■ Plan warehouse space to facilitate efficient material movement
■ Maintain proper and accurate documentation on inbound/outbound records
■ Make necessary material movements to prepare for inbound and outbound shipments ensuring FIFO practices are followed
■ Coordinate periodic audit to ensure accurate inventory
○ Outbound/shipping
■ Coordinate with sales department to understand schedule for outbound deliveries
■ Coordinate with sales department and client receiving POC to understand delivery requirements
■ Plan and coordinate necessary resources (equipment, supplies, personnel, outside services, etc) to prepare for and make deliveries
○ Safety
■ Train all personnel on warehouse safety when applicable and maintain training records
■ Ensure the availability of safety equipment and the proper usage of it
- Logistics
○ Deliveries: operating delivery vehicle with valid driver license following all applicable rules and regulations as well as company policy. And facilitate or assist in loading and unloading products from Abide vehicles as necessary.
○ Following policy and regulation to maintain the vehicles used in delivery and various goods transportation.
■ Schedule and obtain the service for periodic inspection
■ Review and resolve issues noted on the pre- and post-trip inspection sheets
● Work with administrative staff to develop and improve policies and SOPs of the above.
● You would be assigned merchandising support tasks as needed:
○ Maintain and improve Abide brand image at the clients’ stores through the following:
■ Maintain Abide product display at the stores ensuring products are stocked on shelves, displayed neatly and with proper price tags, sufficient inventory and promotional signs if applicable.
■ Build and maintain professional and effective relationships with store staff at all levels to facilitate efficient and accurate merchandising as well as obtaining feature spots to promote brand image and sales.
YOUR COMPENSATION
Abide’s compensation programs provide employees with opportunities based on pay for performance basis. The objective of these programs is to recognize and reward both individual and company performance during the performance year (defined as January 1st through December 31st of each year).
- Your position is a full-time, salaried position with a base salary ranging from $52,000 to $62,400 per year (equivalent to $25-$30/hour, 40 hours/week, 52 week/year) payable twice a month.
WORK HOURS EXPECTATIONS
- Weekly schedule: you are on a full-time schedule, expected to work an average of 40 hours per week. Occasionally there may be work during weekends and holidays.
- Daily schedule: your day should start no later than 7:00 AM. You may request occasional changes in start time with cause/reason.
- Location: your work may start at the office, the various warehouse locations, or store as needed. Working from home must be requested and approved on a case-by-case basis.
- You should punch-in and out using the Abide-designated time tracking application to log your work hours.
YOUR BENEFITS
- Insurance: Per Hawaii Prepaid Health Care Act, you shall be provided with health insurance after 4 consecutive weeks of full-time work. If you decide to enroll in the medical, vision and/or dental insurance, you will contribute up to 1.5% of your income to the monthly premium and Abide shares the rest for health, drug and vision plans. Abide shares 50% of the monthly premium on dental insurance. You may enroll your family in the plans at your own expense.
- Holidays: You will enjoy the following paid holidays:
o New Year’s Day (January 1),
o Memorial Day (Last Monday in May),
o Independence Day (July 4),
o Labor Day (First Monday in September),
o Thanksgiving Day (Fourth Thursday in November),
o Christmas Day (December 25).
You may choose to work on these holidays in exchange for paid time off with approval.
- PTO: You will enjoy 5 days of paid time off per calendar year. PTO is accrued based on 40-hour work
week, 52 weeks a year.
- 401(k): You are eligible to participate in our 401(k) plan after 3 months of service at Abide. If you choose to participate, Abide will match your contribution up to a total of 4% of your wage. You must opt-out if you do not wish to participate.
