Job Summary:
We are seeking dedicated LaPorte County Candidates to join our AMAZING team. The ideal candidate should have experience working with clients that have cognitive and or physical disabilities and possess strong caregiving skills. The role involves providing support and assistance to individuals in need, ensuring their well-being and comfort.
Responsibilities:
- Assist individuals with cognitive and or physical disabilities in daily activities and tasks
- Provide client care and family support as needed
- Engage in dementia redirection when necessary
- Perform lift and transfer tasks as required
- Drive individuals to appointments or outings
- Prepare meals and ensure dietary requirements are met
- Maintain cleanliness and organization in the living environment
Experience:
The ideal candidate should have experience or skills in the following areas:
- Working with people with cognitive and or physical disabilities
- Hospice care or caregiving experience
- Ability to drive clients safely and responsibly
- Proficiency in light house cleaning and maintaining a tidy environment
- Knowledge of Dementia redirection techniques
- Experience in patient care and support
- Capability for heavy lifting tasks
- Meal preparation skills

Pay: $14.00 - $16.00 per hour
Expected hours: 25 – 35 per week
