Job Description: Balanced Environments is seeking a motivated, quick learner with an eagerness to succeed in joining our team. As Operations Manager you will oversee all branch operations including maintenance, enhancements & snow.
As Operations Manager, you will source material, schedule, and supervise all maintenance, enhancement, and snow jobs for the Milwaukee branch. During the winter you will assist in the supervision of our in-house and subcontracted snow operations along with assisting the branch manager with invoicing. The following job responsibilities are part of, but not limited to, your new role.
Job Responsibilities:
· Source all needed materials for branch operations including enhancement projects, irrigation projects, snow removal and landscape maintenance.
· Coordinate the logistics of material pickups and deliveries.
· Review all billing so that invoicing is completed on time.
· Manage branch material inventory.
· Build and maintain relationships with vendors and subcontractors for land and snow operations.
· Assist branch admin team with AP and vendor management.
· Assist Branch Manager with organizing quality control sheets, quality site reports, inventory sheets, and other information needed for crew incentives.
· Assist Branch Manager with monthly financial reporting and forecasting.
- Review time sheets checking for accuracy. Train and monitor foremen as they transition the team to electronic timesheets.
· Pull together weather information for snow recaps that are sent to clients.
· Create & make changes to the schedule board for all work.
· Assist Account Managers with estimate creation & pricing.
· Other duties to be assigned based on individual experience and Branch Manager discretion.
· Assist with snow subcontractor management including invoicing and AP management.
- Create & receive purchase orders. Allocate material to jobs as needed need to be done so that we have correct job costs.
- Log amounts of chemicals used & date of work performed.
· Supervise all field production operations to maintain costs within budget.
- Communicate with crews about any problems or situations on job sites. Report information to Sales Rep or Branch Manager.
- Conduct Safety Talks with Foreman and crews.
- Review all maintenance take-offs & bids for accuracy.
- Manage all snow operations & snow subcontractors.
- Fully staff all branch manpower needs to efficiently produce & monitor the workflow.
