Spring Arbor Senior Living of Salisbury located in Midlothian, VA is seeking an LPN/Shift Supervisor to lead our Assisted Living team. The LPN/Shift Supervisor is responsible for managing the medication administration program in accordance with state regulations. This position directs Resident Assistants (RAs) and helps coordinate services for residents under the direction of the Resident Care Director. The LPN/Shift Supervisor is tasked to develop positive relationships with team members, families, and residents on behalf of the community.

Licensed Practical Nurse in good standing
-
High school diploma, or equivalent required
-
Must be at least 21 years old

Prior supervisor experience in a similar work environment

Must have and maintain CPR and First Aid
WHAT YOU WILL DO!

Document and review medication administration, refer to residents’ charts and administer medications according to physician’s orders
-
Ensure that medications are being administered at appropriate times and order residents’ medications in a timely manner
-
Communicate with physicians and other medical professionals regarding residents’ medications, treatments, and/or therapies
-
Assist residents with activities of daily living (ADLs), including bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, positioning, transfer, mobility and incontinence care

Respond to resident emergency call system
