Banquet Supervisor with a great attitude and the ability to lead staff effectively and precisely needed here at Richland Country Club! Those with Hospitality Management and Tourism Degrees are encouraged to apply.
We are closed on Mondays! While we are open for most major US Holidays throughout the year, we are always closed on Christmas Day.
This is a non tipped, non commission based position.
Please do not apply if you do not have weekend availability.
Duties:
- Oversee banquet events and ensure smooth operations
- Coordinate with the catering team to ensure timely delivery of food and beverages
- Set up banquet rooms according to event specifications
- Supervise banquet staff and provide guidance and support as needed
- Assist in managing inventory and ordering supplies for banquets
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations
- Handle customer inquiries and resolve any issues or complaints
- Collaborate with Banquet Manager to develop and implement banquet service standards
- Assist with bartending duties as needed
- Assist with food production and plating during banquets
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in banquet or catering operations is preferred
- Strong leadership skills and the ability to effectively manage a team
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Attention to detail and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
- Knowledge of food safety and sanitation regulations
- Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays
