**Job Overview: **
We are seeking a skilled Adjuster to join our team. Bilingual is a must!! The ideal candidate will be responsible for the daily functions related to the collecting of customer loan installments. Specific duties may include contacting customers and customer references, preparing collection notices, processing repossessions and legal administration. This individual is responsible for performing miscellaneous duties related to branch collections and administration. This individual will perform all duties in accordance with the company's standards, policies, and procedures and all state and federal regulations.
****Duties/ Responsibilities include but not limited to: ****
- Investigate insurance claims to determine the extent of liability
- Analyze and interpret policy coverage to establish if the claim is valid
- Negotiate settlements with claimants or their legal representatives
- Utilize auto estimating software to assess damages
- Identify potential fraudulent claims and take appropriate action
- Provide exceptional customer service throughout the claims process
**Skills: **
-MUST BE BILINGUAL!
- Answer, screen and relay incoming and outgoing calls in a pleasant, and courteous manner.
- Maintain monthly potential (30 day passed due accounts) delinquencies under 19%
- Perform & maintain record of daily collection calls
- Accurately notate accounts
- Excellent customer service and communication skills
- Ability to negotiate effectively with customers
- Effectively communicate in formal and informal situations, conveying thoughts clearly and sharing complete and accurate information in a professional and respectful manner.
- Perform general office duties such as typing, operating office machines ( fax, copier, scanner)
-Effectively and properly communicate with the management team at all times, regarding any issues concerning any accounts or customers.
***Qualifications***
-High School Diploma or Equivalent
-Bilingual
-Minimum of one year in an office setting or completed degree in higher education
-Customer service experience
-Possess excellent verbal and written communication skills: ability to communicate effectively with others.
-Ability to manage multiple tasks with competing priorities
-Team player, willingness to and be adaptable to challenging situations
-Ability to demonstrate competent computer skill
-Bilingual communications (a must)
Schedule- Monday-Thursday 8:45 am - 5:30 pm and Fridays 8:45 am - 6pm
This position may be required to work overtime (outside of normal business hours, sometime including weekends)
