Job Summary:
We are seeking a compassionate and skilled Registered Nurse (RN) to join our medical/surgical team. The ideal candidate will provide high-quality care to patients with a variety of medical and surgical conditions. The RN will work closely with our interdisciplinary team to develop and implement individualized treatment plans that promote optimal health outcomes. Responsibilities:
- Provide direct patient care in a medical/surgical setting, including assessing and monitoring patient conditions, administering medications, and performing various treatments and procedures.
- Conduct diagnostic evaluations, including taking vital signs, performing lab tests, and interpreting medical imaging results.
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans that address the unique needs and concerns of each patient.
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure that patient care is coordinated and comprehensive.
- Perform catheter care and other invasive procedures as needed.
- Provide education and support to patients and their families to promote healthy behaviors and lifestyle choices.
- Utilize Athenahealth electronic health records to document patient information and communicate with other healthcare providers.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient care and outcomes.
- Perform other duties as assigned by management.
Experience:
- Must have a current Registered Nurse (RN) license and be eligible for certification in medical/surgical nursing.
- Must have experience providing primary care to patients with medical and surgical conditions.
- Must have experience with infant care and be able to provide age-appropriate care to pediatric patients.
- Must have experience with diagnostic evaluation, including mammography and other imaging modalities.
- Must have experience with suture removal and other minor surgical procedures.
- Must have experience with DME and be able to assess and manage patients with DME needs.
- Must have experience with internal medicine and be able to provide care to patients with a variety of medical conditions.
- Experience with occupational health and a commitment to providing high-quality care to patients in all settings.

Pay: $2,016.00 - $2,052.00 per week
