The Unit Clerk plays a critical role in ensuring quality patient care, while enabling medical and nursing staff to work efficiently and in compliance with facility policies and procedures. Utilize your efficiency, organization, and excellent communication skills to maximize unit outcomes working in the role of the Unit Clerk. A successful Unit Clerk will:
- Provide clerical and select administrative services that facilitate unit operations
- Support the delivery of care to patients/ residents requiring care including
- Complete administrative tasks such as answering phone calls, maintaining patient charts, completing various reports, and other related duties.
- Maintain a friendly and professional demeanor
You could be a great fit if you have these things -
- High School diploma or equivalent G.E.D required.
- Previous clerical or unit clerk experience or student nurse experience preferred.
