Job Title: Sr. Regional Construction Schedulers

Position Overview: We are seeking three experienced Sr. Regional Construction Schedulers (SCR) to manage construction schedules for regional projects. Reporting to the Senior Construction Manager, your role involves providing updates and reports to meet Key Performance Indicators. As an SCR, you'll oversee Project Schedulers and ensure project timelines are met. You'll collaborate with OARs, Senior Project Managers, and contractors for CPM schedule reviews, project scope, and budgets. Your role also covers staffing recommendations and program schedule maintenance. This is an on-site, long-term job. You must be located in Southern California. NO relocation funds, and NO per diem.
Key Responsibilities:
- Report to the Sr. Construction Manager for Scheduling and Estimating, providing updates and reports to meet Key Performance Indicators.
- Supervise Project Schedulers to ensure project timelines are met and collaborate with various stakeholders.
- Identify staffing needs and recommend improvements to executive staff.
- Develop and maintain program schedules for diverse construction projects.
- Independently interpret detailed construction drawings and grasp work scope.
- Review Contractors Baseline schedule submissions and ensure proper work sequencing.
- Perform QA/QC on contractor schedule submissions, including critical path and resource loading.
- Conduct schedule Time Impact Analysis for change orders and negotiate delays.
- Assess work scope compliance and determine compensable or non-compensable time extensions.
- Perform Critical Path and Earned Value analyses.
- Visit construction sites as needed and report progress to project OAR and upper management.
- Effectively communicate with Contractors in status meetings and other schedule-related meetings.
- Conduct Program Schedule QA/QC reviews regularly.
- Provide bi-monthly status updates for Program Schedules/Master Schedules.
- Prepare reports as directed by Management.

Minimum Requirements:
Required Experience:
- Minimum of eight (8) years full time paid professional experience in Construction Scheduling for an owner or General Contractor, preferably working on multiple educational facilities or public works projects
- Proficiency in Primavera Latest Version and MS Office Suite
Required Skills:
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Superior organizational and planning skills
- Ability to build efficient working relationships with project teams and department staff
- Understanding of theories, principles and practices of cost engineering, scheduling and schedule forensics.
Required Education:
- Graduation from a recognized college or university with a bachelors degree Architecture, Engineering, or Construction Management.
OR
- Graduation from a recognized college or university with a bachelors degree in any course, but with additional two (2) years of experience in Construction Scheduling to compensate for the required education.
