Housekeeping Manager - Flex Time

Responsibilities include the following:
Housekeeping Management (April-October):
- Manage housekeeping contractors according to guidelines and contracts.
- Establish and maintain housekeeping schedules, work logs and checklists for daily/weekly/monthly housekeeping tasks.
- Coordinate housekeeping schedules with Central Reservations.
- Confirm daily cleaning and preparation of rooms for new check-ins.
- Perform routine inspections of cleaned units.
- Monitor, maintain and make recommendations on level of cleanliness of rental units.
- Distribute clean linens and towels to multiple property closets within a 3-mile radius.
- Ensure that linen/supply inventories are tracked and accounted for daily.
- Provide reports to the Central Office of items that need to be replaced or ordered.
- Conduct monthly building and grounds inspections.
- Run our on-site laundry.
Reservations (Nov-March):
- Receive and enter reservations into the Central Reservation computer system.
- Run daily check-in/check-out reports and coordinate with Central Reservations.
- Coordinate arrivals, departures and special Owner requests with Housekeeping and Maintenance.
- Conduct credit card transactions and secure and handle cash.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- 3 years of Housekeeping experience required.
- 3 years of Management experience preferred.
- Must be proficient in Email and Microsoft Word applications.
- Must work In-season holidays and Saturdays (April-October).
- Must be fluent in English, with excellent telephone communication skills.
- Ability to learn computer software applications and accurately input information into the systems.
- Must possess a valid driver’s license and have an acceptable driving history.
- Will have exposure to laundry cleaners/odors.
- Must regularly lift and/or move up to 10 pounds, frequently lift and/or move up to 25 pounds and must have the ability to push, pull, reach, bend, twist, stoop, stack, crouch, kneel and balance when performing job duties in varying work area
