Radiant Hospice & Palliative Care is a family owned business operating in the South Metropolitan area of Atlanta. Our mission is to deliver exceptional care and support to our patients with life limiting illnesses. Patient's families and caregivers will receive support and education throughout the patient’s journey. We will take pride in providing excellent care, maintaining optimal comfort, ensuring peace and maximizing support to those we serve in the hospice arena. Our patients reside in their homes, hospitals, assisted living facilities, and nursing homes. Our services allow our patients to remain in a place of comfort, making the most of each day surrounded by family and friends in a familiar environment. They can take comfort in knowing that we are available 24 hours a day and 7 days a week. With after hour services we are available for visits and questions/support.
We are seeking passionate, caring and dedicated professionals to join our Hospice team. You will provide compassionate and high quality care for patients and families in a residential, hospital or home health setting. We value the idea that every individual deserves the opportunity to live an exceptional life, so we're committed to providing the best possible care for our patients and families.
Responsibilities:
- Provide daily bedside care to patients.
- Be able to handle difficult situations calmly and without emotional stress.
- Provide emotional support and comfort to those who are dying and to the bereaved.
- Communicate with the deceased patient's family and be able to explain their emotional issues.
- Write notes about the patient's condition on a daily basis.
- Communicate with other medical professionals about the patient's condition.
- Encourage patients to talk about their feelings during hospice care.
- Provide care for terminally ill patients in a nursing home, outpatient, inpatient setting, or at home.
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time, PRN
Pay: $15.00 - $17.00 per hour
