Summary:
- Coordinates auto travel for Club members and non-members Responsibilities.
- Opens and closes office using standard company procedures.
- Responsible for assisting in the management of cash handling, tickets and traveler's checks using proper company procedures including bank deposits and reconciling transactions/money.
- May be required to address routine employee relations issues.
- Handles customer complaints requiring manager's intervention, obtaining directions or guidance from next level manager as required.
- Performs walk-throughs on floor regularly, gives direction or work to associates and ensures client flow is moving along without any distractions.
- Is responsible for associate, member/customer and building safety and security in manager's absence.
- Determines auto travel needs through personal meeting or telephone conversation.
- Verifies membership on computer.
- Sells memberships and inputs into computer.
- Prepares and coordinates materials to assist member/customer in auto travel.
- Orders/prepares TripTiks.
- Prepares maps, gathers tour books and guides.
- Gather other related materials for the destination and trip.
- Enters various pieces of information into computer.
- Suggests and cross-sells other related items such as traveler's checks, international driver's permits, passport photos, and travel store merchandise.
- Inventories, stocks, assembles, collates, copies and maintains products and materials.
- Arranges car and hotel reservations for member travel.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
1. Must possess high school diploma or GED.
2. Posses excellent telephone, customer service, leadership and interpersonal skills.
3. Ability to cross-sell products and services in a successful manner.
4. Be proficient in computer/keyboard skills and possess ability to lean travel software.
5. Able to do basic math.
6. Able to work with money and credit cards.
7. Possess general knowledge of geography and have basic ability to read maps
8. Able to work assigned hours and occasional overtime when necessary.
9. Able to bend, reach and do light lifting, up to 25 lbs. occasionally.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $18.00 - $20.00 per hour
