Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented individual, who is professional, to join our insurance team as a Receptionist/Administrative Assistant. This position plays a crucial role in providing customer support, as well as, administrative support to ensure smooth operations in our office. The ideal candidate will possess strong organizational and communication skills.
Duties:
- Answer and direct phone calls, assisting customers with their needs, take detailed messages, and route calls to the appropriate staff member
- Greet clients and visitors with a positive, helpful attitude with their inquiries, policy updates and claims
- Provide excellent customer service and handle complaints in a professional manner
- Maintain electronic filing system, ensuring all client information is accurate and up-to-date
- Process insurance applications, endorsements and cancellations
- Assist in managing agency social media
- Run daily and weekly reports
Requirements:
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to maintain confidentiality of sensitive information
- Proven ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment
- High school diploma or equivalent
