We are seeking a Clinical Therapist to join our team! You will be responsible for delivering high quality care to assigned patients.
Job Summary:
Under direct supervision of the Director of Clinical Services, the Clinical Therapist will assist with the responsibilities of the overall therapeutic care for each client regarding the prevention, intervention, diagnosis and treatment of substance abuse and/or mental health issues. This position will require some evening hours. The Clinical Therapist will perform the following responsibilities:
Responsibilities
Client Care
- Maintain a caseload as assigned by the clinical director.
- Diagnose and treat mental health disorders including co-occurring disorders.
- Conduct screenings and assessments using standardized assessment tools and obtain biopsychosocial history.
- Facilitate individual and group counseling sessions with clients.
- Complete clinical documentation and progress notes in a timely manner consistent with program guidelines.
- Complete and maintain proper clinical records according to Federal, State of Texas, Texas Department of State Health Services, and agency guidelines.
- Attend treatment team meetings once a week.
Interfacing with EMR:
- Working knowledge of electronic medical record software (KIPU).
- Operating responsibly within the “Administrator” permissions set.
Professional Conduct
- Maintain high standards of professional and ethical conduct.
- Adhere to agency policy and procedures.
COMPETENCIES
- Proficient at updating all licensing and certification documentation in a timely manner.
- Understands and works well within a team environment.
- Three years of experience working in the counseling field.
- Ability to work in the chemical dependency treatment field and address co-occurring disorders.
QUALIFICATIONS
- Master's degree in a clinically related field of study
- Master's level clinical license
- Current LPC or LPC-Intern

Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $50,000.00 - $60,000.00 per year
