Job Overview:
We are seeking a talented Administrative Assistant that has experience and in depth knowledge in credentialing for a busy out patient medical practice and can also take on being a Social Media Specialist to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for working directly and coordinating with the Chief Operating Officer , credentialing responsibilities with insurance carriers, hospitals and physicians. Creating and implementing our social media strategy, increasing online presence, and engaging with our audience across various platforms as well as direct marketing with potential referral sources.
Duties:
-Emails and calls as delegated
-Research
-Completing online and hard copy credentialing applications for federal , state and commercial insurance plans , credentialing hospital and other facility , closely following through the process to include status checks. State licensing and renewal
- Develop and implement social media strategies to increase services and brand awareness
- Create engaging content for social media platforms such as Facebook, Instagram, and Twitter
- Monitor social media channels for industry trends and competitor activity
- Engage with followers and respond to comments and messages in a timely manner
- Analyze social media metrics and adjust strategies to optimize performance
- Collaborate with marketing and design teams to create visual content
Qualifications:
-Previous administrative assisting in the medical sector
-Customer service
-Experience with credentialing processes including but not limited to CAQH , AVAILITY, Additional commercial insurance sites, on-line hospital application sites, paper applications (hospital & insurances) state and federal license renewal(s)
- Proven experience as a Social Media Specialist or similar role
- Excellent knowledge of social media platforms and best practices
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Creative thinker with the ability to generate innovative ideas
- Familiarity with analytics tools to track performance metrics
